2016 Blaufränkisch trocken F. L., Burgenland, Austria

Light toasted, smoky, spicy notes on the nose, light dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, peppery traces, ripe black berries, light malted notes, some licorice and earthy notes. Full-bodied, ripe fruit on the palate, light malted notes, smoky, toasted oak, fine sandy tannins, hint of tobacco, earthy and herbaceous notes, tart nutty aromas, noticeable warm alcohol, hint of nut butter in the background, some cocoa, sweetish and creamy, but also has slightly bitter oak, good to very good finish.
