2017 Gols Merlot trocken "T.S.", Burgenland, Austria

Fairly tart nose, light smoky and meaty notes, black berries, earthy and dried vegetal aromas, rubbery traces. Dark, tart fruit on the palate, smoky, spicy oak, hint of bacon, fine, sandy, slightly astringent tannins, earthy and spicy traces, noticeable high alcohol, slightly rustic style, good to very good finish.
