2018 Ried Heideboden trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Herbaceous and light dried floral note on the nose, light nutty oak, yellow fruit aromas, light touch of yellow spice, hint of fennel. Ripe, fairly light fruit on the palate, yeasty, vegetal, nutty and very light smoky notes, elegant acidity, slightly creamy, but also has some acid bite, hint of bacon and mushrooms in the background, still young, good persistence and substance, acid bite on a very good, slightly spicy, juicy finish.
