Deep, complex nose, yellow spice, yeasty and herbaceous notes, ripe, partly candied citrus fruit, some stone and pomaceous fruit, light nutty aromas, dried flowers, cigar tobacco, hint of iodine, intense mineral notes. Firm, concentrated, ripe, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, prominent yeasty notes, light nutty traces,m herbs, particularly sage, dried flowers and tobacco, very elegant and fairly lively acidity, persistent, noticeable tannic grip, full-bodied, noticeable warm alcohol, slightly smoky in the background, deep and very complex, still quite youthful, earthy and salty mineral notes, hint of bacon on a long, complex, grippy finish.
