The winery is located in Stammersdorf (Floridsdorf), in the north of the Austrian capital Wien, The about 100 years old traditional winery was until the 1980s as pure wine tavern led until Ing. Fritz Wieninger jun. the management of wine production took over. In 2005, a new production building in historic walls was put into operation. The vineyards cover 40 hectares; the cultivated areas are on the slopes of the Bisamberg in south and southeastern locations in the vineyards Breiten, Gabrissen, Herrenholz, Jungenberg, Rothen and Wiesthalen predominantly on sandy, loamy and calcareous loess.

On the Nußberg on the other side of the Danube are 15 hectares of vineyards in lease. There are two-thirds of the white varieties Green Valtellina, Pinot Blanc ( Pinot Blanc ), Pinot Gris ( Pinot Gris ) Chardonnay. Sauvignon Blanc. Riesling, Yellow muscatel and Traminer, as well as the red wines Zweigelt. Pinot Noir. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot cultured. In 2014, the Viennese winery Hajszan Neumann taken over with 20 hectares of vineyards; the brand name is retained.

Since 2006 becomes certified Biodynamic viticulture according to the rules of the association respectful-BIODYN practiced. On pesticides (such as herbicides ), systemic sprays and fertilizers is completely omitted. Instead, infusions and bio-dynamic preparations are used. Flora and fauna are through a sophisticated greening the vineyards supported. The focus is not the high earnings but health, self-healing and the quality of the vine and the wine.

The white wine grapes are depending on the grapes or the desired type of wine destalked (rubbed) and gently pressed. The must then passes into temperature-controlled steel tanks, wooden casks of various sizes and partly in barrique for fermentation. The red wines are classically fermented on the mash either in closed tanks or, as in the case of Pinot Noir, in open oak vats. They basically go through the malolactic fermentation and then exclusively in expanded. The top line is called "Grand Select", which in principle without filtration is bottled. The flagship of the house is the Burgundian-style "Pinot Grand Select" from heavily yield-reduced areas.

Other premium wines are the matured in barrique "Chardonnay Grand Select", "Grüner Veltliner Kaasgraben", the red wine cuvée "Viennese Trilogy" (Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot) and the specially cultivated by the winery Viennese mixed set DAC, which is vinified in the categories "classic" and with the layer names "Bisamberg", "Nußberg" and "Rosengartl". Every year around 350,000 bottles of wine are produced.
