2015 trocken "Wiener Trilogie", Vienna, Austria

Astringent, somewhat dried herbal scent of mainly black berries and a little cherry with a hint of tar. Clear, quite polished, tart and juicy dark fruit, fine tannin, some bite, tar notes again on the palate, a touch of pepper, good persistence, warm and cool elements, a touch of coffee and salt, not forever deep, very good finish.
