1999 Spätburgunder Spätlese trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Ripe garnet with lightening. Fragrance of plums and preserved red berries accompanied by fine wood spice. Quite dense, juicy fruit, cool aroma, very fine tannins, ripe, clarified style, tart spicy oak in the background, very good balance, good finish.
