2018 Wagram Ried Scheiben Weißburgunder trocken Alte Reben, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Distinctly vegetable and slightly buttery, also a little spicy fragrance with yellow fruity notes and nutty, herbal and earthy tones. Ripe, melting, somewhat warm and sweetish fruit, candy notes and nutty aromas, also clearly vegetal tones, very fine acidity, good persistence, rather soft style, a touch of dark berries, increasing minerality, very individual character, good substance, also in the very good finish warm and sweetish. Appears deceptively accessible due to its softness, but should nevertheless mature a little until its complexity becomes more apparent
