2016 Traisental DAC Ried Obere Steigen Grüner Veltliner trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Light vegetal notes on the nose, yellow floral notes, honeydew melon and a hint of citrus, white pepper. Slightly creamy dry fruit on the palate, vegetal and light earthy notes, integrated acidity, still slightly muted by astringent tannins, medium body, yeasty traces, becomes much more juicy and complex with aeration, mineral notes in the background, hint of fennel, some grip, still slightly muted, very good juicy finish with light herbaceous and yeasty notes. Give it some more time to mature.
