2017 Endingen Grauburgunder Landwein "64_SE", Baden, Germany

Bright copper. Relatively cool, nutty, fungal, mineral and dried herbaceous pome fruit scent with hinted wood spice, a hint of brown butter and nuances reminiscent of tobacco. Straightforward, slightly yellow-spicy fruit with a delicate sweetish melt, very fine, lively acidity, coffee grounds and a hint of ash on the palate, has some grip and good persistence, fine sandy, still very slightly drying tannins, earthy, bacon and tobacco tones, a hint of salt, good to very good, warm, salty-mineral finish.
