Interesting wines off the beaten mainstream path, wines with an unmistakeable character! Our head taster Marcus Hofschuster personally selects these wines from around 12,000 wines tasted each year: objectively, independently and without any trade interests.

Sweetish nose, slightly soft with buttery traces, partly preserved yellow fruit, nutty and yeasty notes. Ripe, soft, creamy fruit on the palate, nutty, yeasty and light vegetal npo0tes, elegant acidity, floral traces, noticeably sweetish and creamy, full body, good substance and persistent, mineral notes in the background, light acid bite, slightly soft contours again on a very good, slightly sweetish finish. Does not appear old by any means, but is noticeably losing its contours.
Best to drink:

In addition to Bingen and Nierstein one of the three areas in the German wine-growing region Rheinhessen; look there.
