2010 Westhofen Morstein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

A tart, slightly muted, clearly planty and mineral citrus stone fruit scent with floral nuances, a little light tobacco and a hint of red berries. Tight, ripe, rather juicy, not quite dry fruit, present acidity and tight tannin, vegetable and floral nuances, lasting, catchy, excellent depth and lots of tension, traces of red berries again, clear, light minerality, becomes sweeter in the air, candy tones, a little yellow spice, very good, firm, catchy with sweet candy notes, floral and red berry notes and again plenty of minerality
