2016 Riesling QbA Dry, Alte Reben "La Borne" Rheinhessen
Wine Review Report:
Great (97 WP)
16 December 2017
Very firm nose, ethereal, resiny and herbaceous notes, stony mineral notes, light yellow fruit and floral aromas, hint of black berries. Ripe, very juicy and concentrated fruit on the palate, more resiny herbaceous and other ethereal notes, persistent, grippy and deep, prominent mineral notes, still totally undeveloped, touch of green olives in the background, slightly piquant, very good long finish.
