The estate is located in the commune of Korb in the German wine-growing region Wuerttemberg, The wine-growing tradition of the family from South Tyrol goes back to 1647. The wines have been grown and marketed since 1979. Today the business is run by Jens Zimmerle. Wine tastings and events are held in the 300-year-old vaulted cellar. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vineyards in the individual vineyards Berg, Sommerhalde, Steingrüble (basket), Hörnle (Steinreinach), Steingrüble (Kleinheppach) and tub (Großheppach). 70% of them are planted with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Lemberger, Dornfelder, Schwarzriesling, Trollinger, Muskat-Trollinger, Velvet Red, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zweigelt, as well as with the white varieties Riesling, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The management follows the guidelines of the Organic viticulture; since the 2015 vintage Organic wines produced.

The white wines are always fermented cool and temperature controlled reductively expanded, The expansion takes place in stainless steel tanks, with the highest quality from Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from fermentation in barriques. After fermentation, red wines generally undergo biological acid degradation and, depending on the quality level, are aged in stainless steel tanks, wooden barrels or (including fermentation) at least 18 months in French and Swabian barriques. The middle segment includes varietal wines of international style that mature in used barriques for at least eight months. The premium wines are marketed under the “Goldadler” line, including the “Triologie” blend (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt). There are also bottle fermented , as well as fine brandies (fruit, berries, herbs, pomace) and liqueurs.
