2004 Neusiedlersee trocken Zicksee, Burgenland, Austria

Cool nose with light vegetal notes, orange zest, partly preserved red berries, light mineral notes, hint of licorice and some dark chocolate. Fairly mature on the palate, starting to come together, appears lighter than it really is, quite complex, moderate but concentrated red berry fruit, some yellow plums, chocolate, integrated, fine-grained tannins, quiterestrained and at the same time complex on a good, long finish.
