, The foundation was laid after the Second World War by the grandparents of the current owner. The following generation, Inge and Hermann Zöller, expanded it from a mixed agricultural business to a pure wine-growing business. Today this is run by the third generation of Thomas Zöller. They are 60% with the white varieties Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, Scheurebe, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc Ortega, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Morio Muskat and Chardonnay, and 40% with the red varieties Dornfelder, Portugieser, Pinot Noir, St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon and Regent planted. The best wines of a year are aged in barriques for at least nine months. Fine spirits (wine, yeast, fruit) and bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced.
