The winery is located in the municipality of Margreid (province of Bolzano) on the South Tyrolean Wine Route in the Italian wine-growing area South-Tirol (Region Trentino-Alto Adige ). The company was founded in 1958 by Erich Kobler and consists of fruit and viticulture. Today he is led by Armin and Monika Kobler. In 2006, a part of the grapes was started to be processed, the rest is from the Winery Cortaccia vinified.
The vineyards cover two hectares of vineyards in the layers Feld, Klausner, Kotzner, Oberfeld, Ogeaner and Puit. They are located at 200 to 220 meters above sea level on warm, very water-permeable chalk gravel on Margreider alluvial fan, as well as profound clayey or slightly sandy soils in the east and south of it lying valleys. The product range includes various wines DOC South Tyrol, The vinification takes place with the aim of varietal, vintage and typical wines. That's why all white wines are in stainless steel fermented and aged. The red wines ripen in used , The bottles are with screw cap bottled. Every year around 15,000 bottles of wine are produced, of which 5% are exported to Germany and the Netherlands.
