2004 Kamptal Grüner Veltliner trocken die Leidenschaft, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Mature nose with a touch of honey, honeydew melon, candied apples and some pomaceous fruit, delicate smoky as well as mienral notes. Quite juicy, clean fruit, both pomaceous and stone fruit, very delicate traces of red berries, floral notes, elegant acidity, spicy, nutty notes on the palate, very creamy, cool mineral notes and herbaceous notes in the background, with aeration also develops oaky notes, rather tired, medium depth, slightly astringent finish.
