2015 Weißburgunder trocken Strohlenberg, Pfalz, Germany

Yeasty nose, herbaceous, light nutty and smoky notes, citrus and pomaceous fruit, touch of peach, hint of tobacco, oaky traces, light mineral notes in the background. Ripe, sweetish, juicy fruit on the palate, some sugar candy, light yeasty notes, almonds, lively, elegant acidity, delicate touch of carbon dioxide, creamy and grippy, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, floral traces, hint of wine gums, herbs in the background, mineral traces, slightly sandy tannins, some bite, more noticeable alcohol on a good to very good fruity finish.
