Tart black berries on the nose, smoky oak, nutty notes, dried flowers, hint of leather and vegetal notes in the background. Ripe, sweetish, creamy, partly candied and partly preserved fruit on the palate, mature, but also still astringent tannins, candied herbaceous and vegetal traces in the background, very full-bodied, good persistence, touch of cocoa and some mocha, noticeable alcohol, oak becomes even more noticeable with aeration, slightly sweetish on an oaky but otherwise good finish.
