Firm nose, some spicy oak, mushrooms, ripe red berries, hint of soup greens, herbs and spices, hint of tobacco. Ripe, juicy, fairly firm fruit on the palate, light nutty, toasted oak, elegant acid bite, hint of cocoa and tobacco, smkoky notes, persistent and full-bodied, salty notes in the background, some peppery spice, fairly prominent and fairly fine tannins, some depth, noticeable warm alcohol, very good finish.
