Candied and partly dried red berries on the nose, hint of wilted flowers, touch of white vegetables, light animal notes, smoky and roasted notes. Restrained fruit on the palate, prominent oak, quite astringent, herbaceous notes, noticeable alcohol, mineral traces, astringent and dominated by oak again on the finish.

Editor note: Candied red berries on the nose, dried prunes, cardamom and some lovage, sweetish herbs and spices, some dried flowers, mineral and roasted notes. Fairly mature on the palate, more herbs and spices, oak, medium-fine tannins, restrained fruit, noticeable alcohol, mineral traces in the background, some malted and light oxidative notes, spicy finish.
