2006 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Blauburgunder Riserva Kreuzbichler, Alto Adige, Italy

Candied red berries and plums on the nose, vegetal traces, some roasted, spicy oak, light volatile notes. Ripe, war, sweetish and creamy fruit on the palate, more preserved and candied red berries, fairly juicy, sweetish spicy oak with some roasted notes, quite mature, but also still slightly astringent tannins, slightly noticeable alcohol, rather an old-fashioned style, warm and sweetish again on a good finish.
