2006 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Vernatsch Edelvernatsch "Haselhof", Alto Adige, Italy

Tart but ripe red berries on the nose, plums, light touch of wilted flowers, mineral traces. Delicately juicy on the palate, elegant spice, clear fruit, some dried fruit and some more wilted flowers, some cool mineral notes in the background, delicate hint of almonds, good finish.

Editor note: Nose still slightly restless, red berries and some herbaceous notes, delicate yeasty note, mineral notes. Clear, elegantly juicy fruit, quite youthful, delicate herbaceous notes and some tobacco on the palate, almonds, good persistence, delicate creamy notes, good finish.
