Slightly diffuse nose, partly dried red berries and some raisins, slightly jammy, touch of sweetish spice. Soft and jammy on the palate, ripe fruit, candied nuts and vanilla, fairly mature, but also slightly astringent oak tannins, creamy and fairly persistent, has some substance, but lacks depth and detail, attractive to good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2013+. What our ratings mean
