The winery "Gummerhof - Malojer wine and sparkling wine cellar" is located in the north of Bolzano in the Italian wine-growing area South-Tirol (Region Trentino-Alto Adige ). The Gummerhof, first documented in 1480, was acquired in 1880 by Joseph Trafojer, who set up a winery and distillery. The wines were delivered to the Kaiserhof in Wien . In 1948, the company, which had since been shut down, was reactivated by his son-in-law Rudolf Malojer. Today, the company is run by his son Alfred Malojer and his wife Elisabeth, where they are supported in the fifth generation by son Urban with wife Helena. There is also a vinotheque with a gastro establishment with traditional South Tyrolean cuisine.
Its own vineyard area totals six hectares and grapes from another 12 hectares are purchased. These come from the layers Gummerhof Gries, Gur to Sand, Loamerhof and St. Justina.
