Fairly tart, smoky nose, light vegetal notes, herbs and spices, partly preserved and candied black and some red berries and sour cherries, hint of licorice. Clear, polished, juicy fruit on the palate, fine mature tannins, light smoky notes, delicate acid bite, hint of cloves and spicy notes in the background, good substance and persistence, quite concentrated, but also a little rough, slightly astringent on a good to very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2014+. What our ratings mean
