2006 Sopron Balf trocken Merlot - Cabernet, Nordwesten, Hungary

Tart nose, partly dried red and black berries, touch of gravy stock, light vegetal notes, herbaceous notes and some cardamom, spicy oak. Fairly juicy straightforward fruit on the palate, slightly sweetish nutty oak, medium-fine tannins, creamy with noticeable alcohol, not particularly deep, light acid bite, good finish.
