Description to Aglianico del Taburno DOC

DOCG area for red wine and rosé in the Italian region Campania; the high qualification took place in 2011 (former DOC Taburno was abandoned). The zone includes areas of the municipalities of Apollosa, Benevento, Bonea, Campoli del Monte Taburno, Castelpoto, Cautano, Foglianise, Montesarchio, Paupisi, Ponte, Tocco Caudio, Torrecuso and Vitulano in the province of Benevento. Rosso (with a longer maturation period also as a Riserva) and Rosato are made Aglianico (85%) and other approved varieties (max. 15%).
