The winegrowing area lies on the north bank of the Balaton (Lake Balaton) between Badacsony and Balatonfüred-Csopak in Hungary, It is divided into the three districts Káli, Balatonederics-lesencei and Cserszegi. The most important red wines are Kék Burgundi ( Pinot Noir ) and Zweigelt, Well-known producers are Fodorvin Családi Pincészet, Lesence and Tóth Sándor.
