Description to Bergamasca IGT
IGT area (country wines) for white, red and rosé wines in the Italian region of Lombardy. It covers 67 hectares of vineyards in many municipalities of the province of Bergamo. Grape varieties authorised in the region may be used. Varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety in question, up to 15% may be other varieties. For the wines, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed differently for each wine type, but no maturation periods.
