Regional appellation in Burgundy for exclusively white wines from the eponymous grape variety. Any wine from the entire region may use the name if the minimum requirements are met. This affects the departments of Côte d'Or (91 municipalities), Rhône (85), Sâone-et-Loire (154) and Yonne (54). The community Bouzeron is entitled to be named.
