DOC area for white wine in the Italian region Lazio, It is located in the western part of the area Castelli Romani, The zone comprises around 1,500 hectares of vineyards in the parishes of Albano Laziale, Ardea, Arricia, Castel Gandolfo (with the Pope's summer residence that has existed since 1628), Lanuvio and Pomezia. The famous Via Appia Antica runs through the area.

The wine is made from Malvasia Rossa Malvasia Bianca di Candia (max. 60%), Trebbiano Toscano. Trebbiano Giallo and Trebbiano di Soave Verdicchio Bianco (25-50%), Malvasia Puntinata = Malvasia del Lazio (5-45%), as well as other approved (max. 10%) blended. It is developed in secco, abboccato, amabile and dolce, as well as Novello. Superiore and Spumante generated.
