Description to Coteaux de Béziers IGP

IGP area for red, rosé and white wines in the French wine region Languedoc, The former VdP division Coteaux du Libron was renamed in 2015 to use the renomée of the municipality of Béziers. It extends across all 19 municipalities in the Béziers district in the department Hérault, The vineyards are south of the Cevenenn on both sides of the Libron, which flows into the Mediterranean. Almost all varieties approved in the Languedoc can be used. This turns into varietal wines and cuvées produced. Above all, red wines are produced, mainly from the autochthonous Grenache Noir varieties ( Garnacha Tinta ) and Mourvèdre ( Monastrell ), such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot be pressed.
