The municipal appellation lies north of the French area Touraine (Loire). The vineyards with nearly 100 hectares of vineyards are located on the right bank of the Loir. The red wine is blended from Pineau d'Aunis (at least 30%), Gamay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
