Appellation in the southern section of the wine-growing region Rhone, Sometimes it already becomes that Provence attributed. The vineyards with around 450 hectares of vines in 42 municipalities are located on the right bank of the Durance around the cities of Forcalquier, Manosque and Peyruis in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Red wine and rosé are blended from Carignan, Cinsaut, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, Oeillade, Syrah and Terret Noir. The white wine consists of Clairette, Marsanne, Picpoul, Roussanne and Ugni Blanc.
