IGP area for red, rosé, white and sparkling wines in the French winegrowing region Languedoc, The former VdP area covers 23 municipalities in the Département Hérault in the watershed area of the eponymous river Thongue. Almost all varieties authorized in the Languedoc can be used. This will be varietal wines and cuvées produced. The most common grape varieties are Cabernet Franc, Carignan Noir ( mazuelo ) Cinsault, Grenache Noir ( Garnacha Tinta ) Merlot, Mourvèdre ( Monastrell ) Pinot Noir and Syrah for red and rosé wines as well Chardonnay. Muscat Blanc, Role ( Vermentino ) Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier for white wines. Well-known producers are Domaine de l'Arjolle, Domaine de la Condamine, Domaine Coussergue, Domaine Deshenrys, Domaine du Prieuré d'Amilhac and Domaine de la Serre.
