Description to Cremant de Bordeaux AOC

The regional appellation applies to Crémant (Sparkling wine using the champagne method) in the French wine-growing region Bordeaux, It was introduced in 1990 and replaced the AC Bordeaux Mousseux, which was still valid until 1995. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carmenère, Colombard, Malbec, Merlot, Muscadelle, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Ugni Blanc are approved for the white wine. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carmenère, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot are approved for the rosé. Versions from dry to lovely are produced.
