Subzone (also Valle Isarco) for white and red wine within the DOC area South Tyrol (Alto Adige) in the Italian wine sector South-Tirol (in the double region Trentino-Alto Adige ). The zone includes vineyards up to 800 meters above sea level on both sides of the Eisack (Isarco) northeast from Bozen (Bolzano) in Barbian (Barbiano), Brixen (Bressanone), Feldthurns (Velturno), Kastelruth (Castelrotto), Klausen (Chiusa), Laion (Laion) ), Natz-Schabs (Naz-Sciaves), Ritten (Renon), Vahrn (Varna), Vilander (Villandro), Villnöss (Funes) and Völs am Schlern (Fiè allo Sciliar).
