Description to Finland

Although there is no viticulture, but a curious wine production. On the rocky island Olkiluoto near the southwest coast at the level of 61 degrees latitude several nuclear power plants are operated. In 2001, 150 red vines were planted near the site Zilga set; the extreme hardy Vine comes from Latvia, The warm water of the cooling system of individual reactors flows through plastic pipes under a nearby field, such as lawn heating in a football stadium, and keeps the ground frost-free throughout the year.
