DOC range for a wide range of red, rosé and white wines in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, The area includes completely the municipalities of Latisana, Lignano Sabbiadoro, Palazzolo dello Stella, Precenicco, Pocenia, Rivignano, Ronchis, Teor and Varmo, as well as part of the municipalities Castions di Strada, Morsano al Tagliamento and Muzzana del Turgnano in the province of Udine. The area is located in the Isonzo basin on the Adriatic coast with the famous seaside resort of Lignano and closes in the west to the region Veneto on.
