Description to Minervois-La-Liviniere AOC
The appellation is located in the west of the French winegrowing region Languedoc, It forms an enclave in the center of the AOC Minervois, The red wine was classified as AOC in 1999. He belongs to the highest quality category "Crus du Languedoc". The south-facing vineyards cover about 230 hectares of vineyards at 220 meters above sea level. They extend over the six municipalities of Azille (in the department Aude ), Azillanet, Cesseras, Félines-Minervois, the eponymous La Livinière and Siran (in the Département Hérault ).
