Description to Montpeyroux AOP

The appellation Languedoc-Montpeyroux is located in the centre of the French wine growing region Languedoc. It was classified as AOC in 1985 and belongs to the second quality category "Grands Vins du Languedoc". They cover the municipalities of Arboras and Montpeyroux in the department of Hérault. The red wine is blended from at least 2 of the 3 main varieties Grenache Noir(Garnacha Tinta), Mourvèdre(Monastrell) and Syrah, as well as Carignan Noir(Mazuelo) and Cinsaut.
