The town of Nierstein-Schwabsburg with around 8,400 inhabitants is located on Rhine In the state Rheinland-Pfalz, The district Schwabsburg was until 1970 an independent municipality. After Nierstein was also one of the three wine-growing areas in the region Rheinhessen named, the other two are Bingen and Wonnegau. The north-east lying area Nierstein extends to 38 v. Chr. Founded Roman town Mainz, Center is the Rhine front from Nackenheim to Schwabsburg.
