Appellation in the Lasithi district in the east of the Greek island Crete, which is named after the coastal town of the same name. Sitia is one of the four POP areas the island; to the west of it are the areas in the center Archanes. Dafnes and Peza Archaeological finds have documented a settlement since around 1050 BC. Chr.
