The named after the eponymous place Appellation (also Sainte-Foy) is located in the very east of the large area Entre-deux-Mers (Bordeaux) on the border to the area Bergerac, The vineyards cover 350 hectares of vineyards and spread over 19 municipalities in the department Gironde, The mostly sweet white wines are from the varieties Sémillon. Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, as well as a maximum of 10% Merlot Blanc. Colombard. Mauzac Blanc and Ugni Blanc ( Trebbiano Toscano ) blended. The red wines are from the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet Franc. Merlot, Malbec ( Cot ) and Petit Verdot vinified. The wines are quite similar to those from the Bergerac.
