Description to Saint-Romain AOC

The appellation named after the town of the same name with 83 hectares of vineyards is located in the Côte de Beaune part of the Burgundian Cote d'Or, There are no grands crus or premiers crus. Around half of the wines produced are white (from Chardonnay with Pinot Blanc) and red wines (from Pinot Noir with Pinot Gris and Pinot Liébault). An alternative AC exclusively for red wines is Saint-Romain-Côte de Beaune.
