1996 D.O.Ca Rioja Reserva Viña Saseta, La Rioja, Spain

Surprisingly youthful, pale cherry to garnet. Firm bouquet of black berries and cherries with notes reminiscent of provencale herbs. Quite juicy, fresh fruit, very fine, ripe tannins, slightly spicy on the palate, but predominantly fruity, its aromas are reminiscent of very youthful wines made by carbonic maceration method, good persistent, rounded and mellow, fruity finish.
