2007 Kremstal Grüner Veltliner trocken Edition Chremisa, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fairly mature nose, prominent vegetal notes, pomaceous fruit, earthy mineral and herbaceous notes. Creamy on the palate, ripe fruit, spicy vegetal and herbaceous notes, some more earthy and mineral notes, elegant, lively acidity, some carbon dioxide, full-bodied, persistent and has some depth, very well balanced, gripping, elegant tart spice on a very good, long finish.

Editor note: Youthful nose with must apples and some pears, hint of tobacco. Compact and fairly prominent, persistent apple fruit and pumpkin on the palate, peppery and light herbaceous notes, hint of grapefruit in the background, integrated acidity, has varietal character and shows its origin, good substance, mineral and herbaceous notes on a long finish.
