The "Winzergenossenschaft Bickensohl eG" based in Vogtsburg-Bickensohl (Kaiserstuhl area) in the German wine-growing region to bathe was founded in 1924 by 24 members. Horst Kröhle is the managing director, Ernst Zimmermann and Markus Vogel are responsible as cellar masters. The approximately 100 members cultivate a total of around 100 hectares of vineyards on loess and volcanic stone terraces with listed hollow streets (for example Eichgasse) in the individual layers of Herrenstück and Steinfelsen (Bickensohl). The red wine varieties Pinot Noir (around a third), as well as the white varieties Grauer Burgunder (around a quarter), Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Riesling, Muskateller, Gewürztraminer, Scheurebe and some others are cultivated.

Around 65% of the wines are classically dry, around 30% semi-dry and around 5% noble sweet. The figurehead is the extreme dry developed gray burgundy with only 2 g / l residual sugar, which was first marketed in March 1985 (born 1982). For production, “10 commandments” were formulated with the following guidelines, among others: best locations predominantly on loess soils (à la French Grand Cru ), selective hand picking and two years of aging in traditional wooden barrels. The 30th birthday was celebrated in 2015.

The large product range includes the lines "Cool Morning" (according to old won named; young, fresh, lively), "Burgundy series BS" such as the aforementioned gray burgundy, "SC-Edition" and "S-Class" (max. yield 40 hl / ha, manual selection of old vineyards). In addition, rosé wines, Weißherbste bottle-fermented sect Secco - also non-alcoholic (sparkling wine) and brandies of fruit such as cherry, sour cherry, Williams and apple; Yeast; such as Marc (Pomace) produced from Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer.
